1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Cabin ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Cabin. We may modify these terms at any time, and your continued use constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

2. Description of Service

Cabin is a dialogue engine for introspection. It uses artificial intelligence to create personalized "aspects" that engage in conversation with you about thoughts, patterns, and internal conflicts.

The Service includes:

• Multi-agent dialogue sessions
• Persistent memory across sessions
• Pattern synthesis and visualization
• Free tier with limited sessions
• Premium subscription with unlimited access

3. What Cabin Is NOT

• Not therapy or counseling: Cabin does not provide mental health treatment, psychotherapy, or counseling services
• Not medical advice: Nothing in Cabin constitutes medical, psychological, or psychiatric advice
• Not a crisis resource: If you are in crisis, experiencing suicidal thoughts, or need immediate help, contact emergency services (911 in the US), a crisis hotline, or go to your nearest emergency room
• Not a replacement for professional care: Cabin is a tool for self-directed exploration, not a substitute for licensed mental health professionals
• Not diagnosis: Cabin does not diagnose mental health conditions

4. Eligibility

To use Cabin, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Have the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements
• Not be prohibited from using the Service under applicable law

By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet these eligibility requirements.

5. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Use the Service for personal, non-commercial introspection
• Provide accurate account information if you register
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Not attempt to circumvent security measures or access restrictions
• Not use the Service to harm yourself or others
• Not use the Service if you are in acute psychological distress
• Seek professional help if you are experiencing mental health difficulties

6. Prohibited Uses

You may NOT use Cabin to:

• Generate harmful, abusive, or illegal content
• Attempt to extract training data or reverse engineer the AI
• Impersonate others or misrepresent your identity
• Violate intellectual property rights
• Distribute malware or harmful code
• Interfere with the Service's operation
• Use the Service for any commercial purpose without authorization

7. Subscriptions and Payments

Free Tier

The free tier includes 5 sessions. No payment information is required.

Premium Subscription

• Premium costs $15/month, billed monthly
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled
• You may cancel at any time through your account settings
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
• No refunds for partial months

Price Changes

We may change subscription prices with 30 days notice. Price changes apply to the next billing cycle after the notice period.

8. Intellectual Property

Our Property

Cabin, including its code, design, content, and AI models, is protected by intellectual property laws. You receive a limited, non-exclusive license to use the Service for personal purposes.

Your Content

You retain ownership of the content you provide. By using the Service, you grant us a license to process your content as necessary to provide the Service, including storing, analyzing, and displaying it back to you.

9. AI-Generated Content

Aspects and their responses are AI-generated. You acknowledge that:

• AI outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate
• AI does not understand context the way humans do
• Aspect responses should not be treated as professional advice
• You are responsible for how you interpret and act on AI outputs

10. Limitation of Liability

Our total liability for any claims arising from your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to:

• Merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
• Accuracy or reliability of AI-generated content
• Uninterrupted or error-free operation
• Therapeutic or medical benefit

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Cabin and its operators from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from:

• Your use of the Service
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any rights of another person or entity

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, for any reason, including:

• Violation of these Terms
• Suspected fraudulent or harmful activity
• Extended inactivity
• Discontinuation of the Service

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We may delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Cabin operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.

15. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration, except where prohibited by law. You waive the right to participate in class action lawsuits.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

17. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Cabin regarding the Service.
